She walks the leaden streets, like a lost soul searching for light,
A girl with no motivation or willingness to fight,
The eyes gazing back in the mirror are lifeless and bleak,
Her hands are blue and her legs are weak.
But then these voices buzz through her ears,
It reminds her of shattered hopes and fears,
So she screams until her lungs can take no more,
Her life will never be what it was before.
The pain strikes her chest with one resounding beat,
The scorching blood rushes through her feet,
Should she lie there numb or take the fall?
She feels everything or nothing at all.

I would like to offer a different perspective on your quote "The worst enemy of creativity is self-doubt". For me, at least, it's what drives me. I'm never completely happy with what I've done and try and improve on it, and get better every time.
